Tips and suggestions when capturing clips
Most might already know these but they can help and make the product look better.
If no chat is needed, you can hit F7 twice and it will remove it along with the HUD.
If you need just IC, you use /tog to get rid of newbie, news, /f, etc.
Fraps is the best for capturing clips, there is a topic with a link to it.
If the clip is laggy, it could be due to several things. If it's hardware, then there isn't much you can do. Turning off background programs, and changing the fraps video option to half-size with no sound can possibly help.
Add anymore you know.
